Join us for one of these Season of Wishes fundraisers:
1. Macy’s “Believe” Campaign – Through December 24 – Every Macy’s store will have a special mailbox to collect letters to Santa Claus. Children are invited to drop off their letters, and for each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish. Click here to learn more and find a store near you.
2. Holiday Parade at the Otay Ranch Town Center – November 19 - Bring the family to kick-off the season at the 5th Annual Holiday Parade at the Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista, including the tree lighting and the arrival of Santa Claus! Parade begins at 6:00 p.m. Details here.
3. Skating By The Sea – November 23 – January 2 @ Hotel del Coronado – Put on your skates and enjoy the outdoor, beachside skate rink at the Hotel del Coronado – a portion of the proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish! Learn more here.
4. Sprinklesmobile – November 25 @ Westfield UTC – The Sprinkles Cupcakes’ Sprinklesmobile rolls into the Westfield UTC mall on Black Friday, November 25th from 1 – 6 PM selling a variety of flavors — $1 from the sale of every cupcake will go directly to benefit Make-A-Wish!
5. 6 Degrees Holiday Party – December 6 @ Fluxx – 6 Degrees San Diego will hold its annual holiday party at one of downtown San Diego’s hottest clubs – Fluxx. The party is from 6-9 PM and all proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation. Click here to learn more and purchase tickets.
6. National Believe Day – December 9 @ Macy’s - Join us as we celebrate Macy’s Double Donation Day. Drop off your stamped letters to Santa at any Macy’s special Santa letterbox and Macy’s will donate an extra $1 to the Foundation for every letter received! As part of this special day, more than 50 wishes will be granted at Macy’s locations across the country…in San Diego, we’ll be celebrating Kennia’s wish to go to Paris at the Macy’s in Fashion Valley.
7. So You WISH You Could Skate – December 14 @ Hotel del Coronado – Cheer on your favorite media personalities as they compete in a fun ice skating competition, complete with a panel of celebrity judges. More details here.
8. Sammy’s Make-A-Wish Pizza – December 15-January 15 @ Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza – Visit your neighborhood Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza and dine for a cause with the Make-A-Wish Pizza inspired by Wish Kid Sofia! From December 15 – January 15 a portion of proceeds from each specialty pizza sold will benefit Make-A-Wish. www.sammyspizza.com.
9. San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl – December 21 @ Qualcomm Stadium – Buy your tickets today and join Make-A-Wish children and their families for the 7th annual holiday college bowl game. Kick-off is at 5:00 p.m. www.poinsettiabowl.net.
10. Subaru “Share The Love” Event – through January 3, 2012 - Subaru will donate $250 (up to $5 million) for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to one of five participating charities designated by the purchaser. Visit subaru.com for details.
