“I wish to have a bedroom makeover”
Hayleigh, age 3
Wish Adopted by: Paradise Family
When asked what she would want as a wish, 3-year-old Hayleigh explained that she wanted a “big girl” bedroom. Hayleigh loves watching videos and playing, and wished for a dream bedroom that she could enjoy spending time in. Hayleigh’s wish became a reality when a team of designers took Hayleigh’s love of pastel colors and created a new room complete with a “big girl” canopy bed, a book case, a new TV and DVD player, and a special shelf for all of her beanie babies.
Hayleigh’s mom Linda reports that before her wish, Hayleigh always wanted to be in her parents room. Now she insists that everyone comes to her room! “It really is her sanctuary,” says Linda, “Hayleigh’s wish is more than generous, it’s unbelievable. It is so comforting to know that she still has so much happiness in her, despite the challenges she’s faced being sick. I’m just very, very thankful.”
