“I wish to be an Army Ranger”
Evan, age 8
Wish Adopted by: Team Heating & Air
When volunteers from Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego visited 8-year old Evan, he knew exactly what he wanted to be an Army Ranger Special Forces! Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Tuna Challenge, Evan’s wish was granted in November, when he spent a week at Fort Benning in Georgia with his parents and older brother.
Evan has always had a love and respect for the military, and his fondest wish is to be part of the Army when he grows up. His current favorite book is American History of Wars and he recently redecorated his room in a camouflage theme. “Without Make-A-Wish Foundation, we would not be able to make this wish come true for Evan,” says his mother, Christy, “Evan was so excited to meet his heroes at Fort Benning, get his own uniform, wear night vision goggles, and ride on a tank!”
